Description
Reporting to and under the general direction of the Director of Education or delegate. On Call School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students over assigned routes and the mechanical safety and operation of the bus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operates a School Bus to safely transport students over assigned routes including field trips.
• Performs pre-trip inspection prior to departure.
• Responsible for all travel and maintenance logs.
• Secures bus upon completion of route.
• Maintain internal/external cleanliness of the bus.
• Reports mechanical failures and accidents to appropriate supervisor.
• Do minor repairs needed to bus as required?
• May be required to assist physically and mentally handicap students when transporting them.
• Maintains appropriate behavior and completes Discipline Reports on appropriate students.
Skills and Requirements
• Ability to maintain effective working relationship with public, parents, students, school district employees, and band employees
• Ability to operate a school bus and adhere to all safety and traffic regulations
• Ability to maintain discipline on a school bus
• Knowledge of the mechanical operations of a school bus
• Must have Valid BC Class 2 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement and the ability to pass an annual medical examination
• Must Have Minimum of Grade 12 education
• Knowledge of the mechanical operations of a School Bus
• Knowledge of disciplinary limitations and regulations regarding children
• Must be willing to consent to Criminal Record Check.

The Little Shuswap Indian Band is looking for 3 Village Maintenance Workers.
The Village maintenance worker performs grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, weeding, landscaping, road maintenance, and water & sewer system work.

Area of Responsibilities:
- Operates and maintains power mowers, chain saws, tractors, weed whackers and electric clippers
- Assists in repairs and maintenance of roads, ditches, culverts, as directed
- Assists in repairs and maintenance of water and sewer systems, as directed
- Performs work according to safe work procedures and regulations
- Maintains work area in clean, tidy and safe manner
Skills and Requirements
- Some previous landscaping and grounds maintenance experience preferred, but training will be provided
-Experience and knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment and tools
- WHMIS Certificate is desirable

-Reliable, self-motivated and possess good judgement and problem-solving skills
